Oh my stars, ROTFLOL! Voice of America has an article about a recent experiment with bending light, that draws the ire of a religious nut saying the physicists “are playing God.” I had to respond to the alleged “love of physics” this chowderhead claimed in my response to this fellow’s comment on Science World’s blog, starting with “Put down the holy book and back away from the science table slowly. . . .” James “Because Kitten BBQ=Bad!!! Educate yourself, write a crabby letter to your Senator, do it for the kittens.” – From The Oatmeal Webcomic's SOPA blackout page cartoon http://www.theoatmeal.com/sopa explaining the suspension of IV Amendment rights on small Websites. The author writes: I have reached the pinnacle of my cartooning career if I could get a koala and a goat making love on CNN. |

"Don't play God" Ladies and gentleman, this is the reason why religion had dramatically slow down the progress of science and should only belong in the middle age.
