Lightbulb VOA physics article draws Christian ire, my rebuttal
http://blogs.voanews.com/science-world/2...nt-in-time

Oh my stars, ROTFLOL! Voice of America has an article about a recent experiment with bending light, that draws the ire of a religious nut saying the physicists “are playing God.” I had to respond to the alleged “love of physics” this chowderhead claimed in my response to this fellow’s comment on Science World’s blog, starting with “Put down the holy book and back away from the science table slowly. . . .”

“Because Kitten BBQ=Bad!!! Educate yourself, write a crabby letter to your Senator, do it for the kittens.” – From The Oatmeal Webcomic's SOPA blackout page cartoon http://www.theoatmeal.com/sopa explaining the suspension of IV Amendment rights on small Websites. The author writes: I have reached the pinnacle of my cartooning career if I could get a koala and a goat making love on CNN.

Idiots everywhere, news @ 11.

Big Grin
Man's unfailing capacity to believe what he prefers to be true rather than what the evidence shows to be likely and possible has always astounded me. We long for a caring Universe which will save us from our childish mistakes, and in the face of mountains of evidence to the contrary we will pin all our hopes on the slimmest of doubts. God has not been proven not to exist, therefore he must exist. --Academician Prokhor Zakharov

Because dem sciency people larnin' things ain't whut God wanted for us peoples. Loogit da story of Adam & Eve, eatin' from dat dere tree o' knowledge. Dey got punished fer it and we did too 'cuz God in his infinite wisdom wants us to be as stoopid as we is. Now if y'all 'scuze me I got to go pick boogers from my nose and drool on m'self.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

"Don't play God" Ladies and gentleman, this is the reason why religion had dramatically slow down the progress of science and should only belong in the middle age.
