1. You said "Lol. It does work" therefore I concluded that you thought it worked, therefore further concluding you were presenting the "Secret" as factual.

2. Yes, my answer does reflect who I am, an open-minded skeptic who will believe things once all the evidence supports one explanation.

ok. I wouldn't call you open minded though.

RE: The Secret:
An open-minded person will look for all possible explanations before stating belief in one (or none at all). They will not simply say "I asked the universe for more money and I got it, therefore the universe gave it to me". In fact, doing that would be completely close-minded, as you are immediately ruling out all other explanations in light of something that may be completely irrational.

I suggest you watch the "Open-mindedness" video on YouTube to see a better explanation of it.

RE: The Secret:
The phrase "open minded" is being hijacked to mean unquestioned belief or acceptance in ideas with little or no basis in reality. I'm beginning to think we need a new phrase which embodies the scientific method as well as "open minded" once did. That or fight to get those two words back.

What exactly did you just hope to gain with a stupid question like that?

I have no idea what you asked for, but other people have asked for money and got it. Just because you asked for something and you got it doesn't mean the two events are related. Correlation does not imply causation.
