Have at it

RE: Have at it
Just another instance of smug Christians making an analogy of something we know to be true to mock those who don't believe what they believe to be true.

I'd love to see a parody of that with a coathanger going after the religious twin. Don't ask me why, I just feel particularly evil at the moment!
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Expand! Don't keep us guessing! Describe the unfolding scene in all its gory detail! Let us benefit from your inventive imagination!
We have a right to some ocassional entertainment too, don't we?

I won't do that, but I will leave you with a tasteless joke:

How do you know a baby wasn't wanted?

When it was born with a coat hanger sticking out of its head.

That isn't really evil though.
It's simply a matter of taste.
I found dead baby jokes funny three years ago.

I thought the image was clever.

Wrong, but clever.

The analogy isn't in depth enough to include divine eternal punishment for not believing in Mom.
"I get angry when believers say that the entire unimaginable hugeness of the universe was made entirely for the human race, and atheists by contrast say that humanity is this infinitesmal eyeblink in the vastness of time and space, and then religious believers accuse atheists of being arrogant."

The only difference is that babies in the womb are cognitively unaware of their existence whereas adults are. Who is to say that this universe is not a "womb" to another existence after death? Perhaps we pass on to another plane or dimension? Food for thought. Just like a fetus in a mother's body, maybe our consciousness somehow travels through a galactic wormhole.

Whatchu smokin?!? Don't be stingy!

Hey Kind Bud!!!!!! what else? get yourself some! Yet seriously, what about string theory physics which postulates that we actually live in a "multiverse" rather than a universe? If some of the world's best physicists are now saying that several dimensions can co-exist without us even being capable of sensing them with the 5 senses we currently exhibit within our biological evoltionary makeup, this opens up a whole can of worms to ghost realms, afterlife heaven and hell realms and who knows what. I'm not saying that I totally buy into this psychedelic concept by any stretch of the imagination nor am I defending any form of religious dogcrap my friends. All that I'm saying is...as John Lennon sang..."I'm only dreaming"
You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.

There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting.

And again we will have to research and find evidence to back that all up Bgood. In the interim it is still a fantasy.

Is there life after birth? I can't hear these words without thinking of this song:

For the record, that's about the only part of Sweet Movie that doesn't violate YouTube's terms of service.

Sorry Rokcet...All sites in our little Cul-de-Sac are taken and built. A very short walk leads to a rather large Public Park (Pulchella Ramble-big vacant area) that is still under construction ...will be posting pics if you like as it will accommodate many Native species that are endemic to our area. Unfortunately google maps is not up to date with all the details..if you like you can find burns Beach Road and see just how far we are from a local Marine Park
Cheers
