Why is it that people who you call morons think an insult by them holds any weight whatsoever?

Other than defining Christians as morons in my signature line I haven't called anyone a moron.

You were the one who suggested that someone who misunderstands Occam's Razor is a moron.

I personally believe that such people were either taught the concept incorrectly, or they simply didn't take the time to think about it in depth and they just go by the popular misconception. Neither of those conditions requires that they be a moron.

Being misinformed about something doesn't equate to not being able to comprehend it once it's been properly explained.

Smile

Christian - A moron who believes that an all-benevolent God can simultaneously be a hateful jealous male-chauvinistic pig.
Wiccan - The epitome of cerebral evolution having mastered the magical powers of the universe and is in eternal harmony with the mind of God.
Atheist - An ill-defined term that means something different to everyone who uses it.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.
Clearly Jesus (a fictitious character or otherwise) will forgive people if they merely know not what they do

I never said you did. Maybe when you learn to read you should reread what I said a few times until the syntax sinks in.

Well, I must confess that your statement as worded doesn't make much sense to me.

You said, "Why is it that people who you call morons think an insult by them holds any weight whatsoever?"

The only people I called morons were Christians in my signature line.

I'm not sure why they should think that an insult by them should hold any weight.

But then again, I'm not aware of having been insulted by a Christian.

So, I'm afraid I'm at a total loss at what you're even attempting to say.

And that's probably a good thing. Wink
