Considering the fractious nature of the conflict, I would have still expected someone to note "Hey lads, if we burn Qu'rans... that might be taken the wrong way..."

Curiously (...) the invading aggressors in this case profess to be Xtians, but IRL behave like barbarians, indiscriminately killing women, children, and innocent bystanders, under the nomenclature of 'collateral damage'.
I would do my damnedest to kill every last one of whoever would forcibly invade my country without my permission. It's a patriot's obligation. The invading aggressors asked for it.

Ok. If this country was under the control of religious fanatics who rape, blow up and execute people and dictate how I should live my life and that I'd face certain death should I dare think different. These fanatics who live by shaira law and think it's ok to rape women, blow up innocent people and execute people who dare think different, they're fighting for control/power. If a country harbours such sick and dangerous people, you're going to want to stop them. I think we should pull our troops out BTW. We're fighting terrorism. They're already over here. Should be focusing on security.

The group responsible for thousands of lives lost are located in the middle east. Who's the terrorist?

If we are to believe the American administration and media 'the ringleaders' have been well and truly dealt with. All Al Queda's personnel have been killed (remember the illegal raid on Abotabad?) or illegally incarcerated (Gitmo). There never was a reason to indiscriminately kill innocent Afghan people, women, and children to begin with – they certainly didn't commit 9/11, or 7/7 – and after those 'ringleaders' were killed there certainly wasn't any reason left to keep on killing and terrorizing the Afghan people.
Yet Americans are still indiscriminately killing Afghan citizens and occupying their country.

I do agree with you. Why the fuck are Afghan citizens being killed? They are not the target. I agree with the invasion when the invasion is about taking out the group responsible for the terrorist acts in both the U.S and Europe. To have that justice we deserve. I do agree with you. I also agree that it's completely wrong to gun down women and children.
Though terrorist leaders have been taken out, there'll always be more. All we can do now really is pull out and focus on home security.

Well, America is still not pulling out. Despite all Obama's dramatic public pledges for years (a.k.a. LYING)! And (the Department of) Home Security never stopped even one terrorist in 10 years (while 60% of tests proved it can easily be foiled), while it's costing the American taxpayer billions! The DHS is the US administration's system to terrorize and control it's own and other people.

It's sick. I mean, if it's been done and that the ring leaders have been wiped out. Why not pull out and focus on the safety of your people? Don't make sense to stay really. Just losing more men. We need to focus on defence. This is where they want to strike. Focus on keeping them out.
