Po Boys are good.

I’m kind of partial to Muffaletta myself.

Today is the third and final day of corned beef for lunch and diner. I think perhaps I should have bought a smaller piece

I'm finishing off with hot corned beef, mashed potatoes, greens, and a nice red onion gravy..I might not have any more corned beef for a while.Thinking

Home made club sammies!

Best one I ever had was at a diner next to LAX; cheap, delicious and big enough to feed a family of four.(plus fries.)

I have no idea what that is. What's in it? Looks great.

Here most local greasy spoons are ostensibly barbeque chicken shops. They also usually sell fish and chips, hamburgers,(with beetroot of course) and often lamb yiros. The white stuff is a garlicky yogurt. Served wrapped in hot pita bread.

Gyros are amazing. One of my all-time favorite foods, and the tzatziki sauce is a perfect compliment.

I don't eat sandwiches.
It's just wasting the good bread.
I rather have hot meals with bread, it's much more sating that way, besides, you'll be cutting down on bread in the meantime.
My favorite is to only have some soup, some white cheese and 3 slices of bread at my evening meal.

How is it wasting bread if:

- You eat it
- You taste it
- You enjoy it

You make Turkey sound like the land of no humor and adventure. "Waste of good bread" pfft.
