Lesbian denied communion at mother's funeral

Well, if we're ruling out catholics for communion based on sin, or not following the rules....there wont be many catholics left when we're done. Hell, being a sinner is almost a requirement, no, wait, it actually is a requirement.

You are allowed to take communion after confession. Yes everyone is a sinner but to be forgiven you must repent of your sin. The lesbian daughter was not repentant. Plus, I think Catholics make some distinctions between mortal and venial sins, but I'm not sure.

What's this I hear about grape juice? If they aren't passing the wine I feel cheated. Had they not been doling out drinks on a sunday my ancestors never would have climbed aboard.....and I wouldn't have to deal with the shame of their conversion.

I think it's asinine. She want's to be member of the church, church spurns her.
