Well the sad thing is is that there ARE good adoptive parents out there...but those are when more selective adoptive processes are used. Foster care is where it gets fucked up. With a descent budget, they could do the necessary background checks and follow-ups but the system is so overwhelmed that it's almost impossible for them to do so. Which is why every time someone tells me that contraceptives or sex education involving anything other than abstinence-only programs are bad I want to slap them. Not even punch; just a cold, emotionless back-handed to the face.

It's sometimes tough to recognize God's mercy amidst all the crap in our lives. But, He's there, and always available. Something to consider. God bless.

I don't think he would ever dare talk to you this way if he met you face to face, unless of course he's an absolute moron.
