As I pointed out in the thread about "barbarians", were romans not the most sophisticated civilazation of it's time. They just where very good preserving their own version of the history which made them look better then they were.

That'äs why also the empire is more known then the other Romes.
- Science is not trying to create an answer like religion, it tries to find an answer.
