It suggests no such thing, it is not a theory, and it is not science. Just a bunch of airbags running around pointing at things saying "this was designed!". Is repeatedly making easily debunked claims helpful for any discussion, ever?

Not sure if anyone can offer you any enlightenment, but something very sinister is happening in your mind without you even being aware of it if you couldn't figure that out from such a simple and short set of possible definitions. Notice that there were multiples angles available and ID still couldn't meet the bar.
Un-evidenced hypothesis is about as far as it gets. (hint: check the "commonly confused with" bit. It get's even worse if we become more specific, and make claims to a "scientific theory", or "scientific hypothesis")

ID as far a it could be called science in the loosest term possible is a "Hypothesis - a mere assumption or guess." And I regard it in the same way that my friend told me earlier that aliens created humans. Which is far more likely than magic in fairness to him.
The question now becomes one of who sold you a bill of goods Black? Why would they be so willfully misleading and dishonest, or perhaps they themselves didn't understand the definition? It would be a stretch to assume that someone who makes it their business to argue biology wouldn't know precisely why their pet argument wasn't a theory. ID isn't a pillar of your faith, I assume, you could dustbin ID and still remain devout, yes?
