Nor did I.

Ace - just to be clear, are you using Google+ from within the browser, or the Google+ app?

Here ya go, Ace. G+ for Android

And Android has plugins. In fact, as an OS... Android blows IOS away. <-- My Opinion

Tried that, didn't work. Tongue

"these devices are not Google certified and do not have access to Android Market."

You gotta get techy Ace and download the apps by hand. Maybe alternate app stores will work for you. Apparently you have AppsLib?? ("And don’t forget that your ARNOVA comes with access to AppsLib which has over 30 000 applications available ")

Try this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthre...?t=1148305

Have you tried using the actual website then? Download Dolphin Browser HD and go directly to Google+ like you would with a computer.

Depends which version you are talking about, and what kind of features you are talking about. Bluetooth support on Android is terrible, trust me, I've developed for it. Android is a far less secure OS, mainly because the iOS AppStore is so protective. The other problem with Android is that updates don't work across the board; I had to wait years for my HTC Hero to get updated from 1.6 to 2.1, and by the time the update was applied, 2.2 had been released.

In terms of jailbreaking, usually the Android "jailbreak" involves permanently unlocking the device, which the iOS version doesn't. You can revert an iOS jailbreak at any point, but this isn't possible for an Android jailbreak.

In short, both are good operating systems, but the advantages of Android are in the price (free) and the different types of app (regular, widget, etc). I don't really use widgets that often, and all my iOS updates are free, so I really don't mind the initial hardware cost.

It's got that. Just lacking google apps. Many androids come with pre-installed apps for google, this one doesn't. Going to again try tomorrow. At least I'll be able to do a vid for the accent thread. Tongue
