I find that many products are at least 2 dollars cheaper. That doesn't sound like a lot, but if saving $7 on my entire trip allows me to buy laundry detergent, I'm happy.

I don't shop at Walmart very often. Maybe a handful of times per year. If I can't get it at Family Dollar, Kroger, or a thrift shop, I don't know it exists. It's just a hassle to shop at Walmart. I'm very much a man when it comes to shopping.
