I'm against gun control, simply because I don't think that regulating idiots is a long-term solution. We need to somehow remove idiots from society. Once only intelligent people have guns, the issue of gun control will solve itself.

They just tried to pass a Stand Your Ground law here in MA. Luckily Deval Patrick has shot it down for the time being. My state has some of the strictest gun control laws and is the state with the second lowest instance of gun violence. MA is also one of the most well educated states. Intelligent people want gun control because it works!! The NRA has had so much success that they have gotten everything they want. Those bastards have just started making up laws that they want passed because they ran out of real agenda items! "Hmmmmm how about a rule where anyone can shoot of a gun in public for whatever reason?"

That reminds me of something I heard on the radio today.

Someone was mentioning how for all the damage in the Texas tornadoes that noone was killed. The other broadcaster stated that there was only one word for that... "miracle". I almost pulled the car over so I could call the station and tell them how ridiculuous that concept was.
