New Spiderman

RE: New Spiderman
I love Spider-Man! I'm really looking forward to the new one. I really like the look of the new costume. It certainly can't be worse than the 3rd Toby Maguire one

Dude the Avengers can't fail.... There will be at least 3 of them.

They fucked up Venom so bad. He wasn't a scrawny little shit...
Also, I'd love to see them do Carnage.

Well technically Batman is supposed to die in this movie if it's directly adapted from the comic book series it's based on.

Doesn't Bane just break Batman's back? Then there is a new, meaner Batman that takes his place for a while?

Yeah, in the Knightfall comics he breaks his back... then Jean-Paul Valley becomes batman for a bit.

Everyone expects Bane to break the bat in this film, so I don't know if they will actually put it in. It is maybe too obvious an ending.

Hollywood doesn't come up with anything new anymore, apparently. Just keep rebooting old ones.

I went looking to see who was going to play Mary Jane Watson in this movie and it turns out that character is not in it. I'm impressed, because that is actually correct. In the Amazing Spider-Man comics, Mary Jane doesn't make an appearance until later in the series (issue #25).

Spider-Man needed it after that last fiasco.

Spiderman does deserve a reboot.

It's Whedon, how can you be skeptical? I'm just curious if he'll try to kill off a main character. He does love to surprise his audience. Avengers is the film I am looking forward to most this year (except maybe the Hobbit)

I think batman will be good. As good as the previous, hard to say, but it I doubt it will be labeled a failure unless it does considerably worse than the last one.

Spiderman so deserved a reboot, but I'm a little concerned about how quickly reboots are being done these days. I think they want us to forget the Raimi/Maguire spiderman. I like Raimi but the films just didn't work.

Hoping it will be a good year for films: Avengers, Spiderman, Batman, and Superman for comicbook movies. Plus Skyfall (Bond), Total Recall, the Hobbit, Prometheus, Men in Black, Bourne Legacy.
