I have seriously relooked at my perception of God and How He works for the last few days. I now believe that God does not interfere in anything that occurs on earth or even the universe. I have adapted a belief somewhat similar to a Deistic view of the world. I am still a believer in Jesus Christ.

If god has no interference or effect on Earth, explain how you believe Jesus was crucified, born of a virgin, did miracles, walked on Earth, etc.

Phil, my answer is I don't know. I still do believe that God (who became known as Jesus Christ by fellow men) came to earth just once to suffer with men (and not for men). But again, I don't know but I am really trying my best to know the truth.

I don't get it. Did god interfere once so you can believe in Jesus? Either god interfered (and continues) or he didn't. Either way, it is not even close to what a deist believes as there is not a deist that believes in Jesus as god.

The truth Christian, is that no-one knows what the TRUTH is.

Not religion, not science, not theists, not atheists.

However atheists are happy to admit that they don't know.

Maybe there is an intelligent first cause to the universe, we can't say and maybe we never can.

But so what? Is it not more important to live your live well?

To live it in such a way that the world is a little bit better for you having been in it?

And not for fear of punishment or expectation of reward in a hypothetical next life.

But for here and now and just because it is the right thing to do.
