Origin of life

RE: Origin of life
Saying that, I ran Spybot last night and it nearly had a fit over all the entries in the registry by BearShare!!!

However, rather than just deleting it I did some research and found that all BearShare is doing is targeting you with adverts while you run the programme. As I keep Norton and Spybot running all the time I think I have it in check. In fact, BearShare themselves are pretty annoyed that all the anti-spyware programmes target them as spyware.

I have still to find another P2P programme that downloads a 700MB file in under 40 mins!!!

That is their own fault. They started out with a program that spread malicious spyware, what do they expect??? If George Bush went to Iraq and said "it's ok guys, I'm sorry i invaded your nation, I'm a changed man" what do you think would happen?

I still think you should get rid of BearShare and try a bittorrent such as Azureus. If you have a good network and a popular file, Azureus can download things very quickly.

Oh, and all of your videos on the previous page do not work Tongue

CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS?

I always go there for a bit of a laugh. I just find the psuedo-science and excuses they bring up for believing in that stuff hilarious.

Well yes, the theory of Evolution is an unproven theory. If it were proven it would be a "Law". The fact still remains that there is more than enough evidence to support the theory, and Evolution itself (the actual process) is a fact. You should refute his argument with the fact that ID is also an "unproven" theory, and that there is no evidence for ID like there is for Evolution. The theory also lacks the evidence of the designer, which means it is incomplete.
[/quote]

Accordingly you could say about any theory that it is not proven.
You know what?
1+1=2 is at the base of science, whithout it there exists no measurement of any physical entity.
Well,1 plus what 1 equals two? Eggs, dogs, blondes,? what ?
If one goes down to atoms ,in the search of two identical entities.
they are also nonidentical as are any subatomical particles and if you arrive at quantums you will drown in the uncertainity principle.
What I'm trying to say is that every theory and even the most simple of laws have to be simplified to a certain amount in order to be accepted.
That's the case with the evolutionary theory of life it has it's simplifications but it certainly needs no designer in order to be proven at this time of our understanding of nature.
May be that in future evolution may prove to change itself in a higher order of evolution ..only God knows.

You could always invite them over here for some discussion - we're always happy to educate. That is, assuming they actually want to learn.
