You know how many billions and billions of people throughout time have said that about their god? Does that tell you nothing?? How do you not see this? What makes all those billions of people wrong and you right??

The arrogance and blindness is just so mind bending it cannot even be charted.

What actually is mind blowing, is that you and the other atheist can not see what I do, the truth of my future, if you desire to call my faith arrogant then so be it.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

The *other* atheist? How about you respond to me directly you silly little man or would that conflict with the stick up your ass?
Your future is no future at all. You would cast out any advances we make if it counters your outlook, you would make original thinkers outcasts. We would lose the ability to reevaluate our ideals and become as inflexible as you are.
Anyone who calls that a future cannot have their faculties about them.

I put to you that you are indoctrinated and have lost any ability to make any decision outside of the dogma you've been taught. Respond.

There may be a stick there, but as Christ said it is the log in your eye that keeps you from seeing. How arrogant of you to tell me that I have no future, you know me not. My outlook comes from the original thinker, His mind is so far beyond your small thoughts you are like myself and King David, who said we must appear as grasshoppers to God.
The dogma, as you put it, that I was taught has changed as I've studied scriptures and have discussions with other christians of different denominations. I live in my world view just as you live in your's, the difference is I trust in the Creator who has given me life, twice, and you trust in the ever changing mind of man that in the end will disappoint and led to a dead end.

Your trust in the world has deluded you to depths unimaginable.

Oh please. That whole "I have a future" talk and that other pile of BS is all grandiose sophistry to mask what it is you really have .... A healthy fear of dying! That's it and that is all! You're deluding yourself. If you lived 4000 years ago you'd be worshiping some other god and telling people the same bull shit. If Jesus Christ had done all he had done and hadn't added the bit about Heaven and Hell, you'd be off looking for a new god who covered the afterlife issue, cause in the end, you're only in it because you cannot face your own mortality. That is all. Nothing more. The rest of it, is just people capitalizing on what they find useful in that evil book ... which is why there are so many damn denominations of Christianity ... and also why they all seem to only be able to agree on one thing ... we're going to Heaven.

Open up your damn eyes!

First off, *you* didn't answer my question.

Yeah, I have a log in my eye. Theres a valid metaphor that makes complete sense. Choice quote there.

Your outlook comes from the corrupt morons who wrote your holy book with the express wish to utterly control whoever read it.
You're right. You do have a future. A future filled with self-enforced guilt, humility and a sense of unworthyness that will plague you for as long as you live in this ridiculous facade. Your thoughts will be restricted because you can't possibly think outside of the little box you were tricked into. You'll pass this on to the people you love because no matter how much you love them you'll always love your imaginary friend more because thats what you've been taught. I just don't consider it a future worth pursuing.
Is that better?

You do not live in a world view, you live in the world with the view someone else used to brainwash you. I don't trust in the ever changing mind of man, I trust that life is a constant state of flux in which I have the privilege to be part of and if I am to do right by it I must perceive it without bias or assumption.

Make of that what you will, I honestly don't care.

Open up your damn eyes!

I understand my mortality and accept it, I do not fear death, just the way I might go. I see death as a result of my living, living outside the will of God, sin for those who do not understand the "will of God," and since He has given me a way to live a life of eternal wonder why shouldn't I accept it. I see this from a different view my friend, it's you who are afraid, you're afraid there is God, and he will take away all your independence, a thing that blinds you to the truth of God. The freedom God has given me is indeed a true freedom, it's a freedom from fear, a freedom to live a life that is as righteous as can be for me. You are right to fear God and live a life outside His will.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.
