Nobody agrees with all of the rules of men. If we did we would think that the Kim Jong family are deities incarnate and that the North Korean people are all their servants forever even unto death, and that Emperor Hirohito was a god as well. Many laws of man are wrong if they are not of the people and for the people and even then some must be argued against. The ones that go against basic human decency and liberty and freedom and respect are to never be tolerated. Christianity and Abrahamic religions in general promote laws that go against these basic creeds which are often based in basic human decency from the concepts based in the Golden and Silver Rules which have reasonable basis in biological evidence in nature.
Ergo your logic is flawed.

I would certainly agree that some OT laws are too brutal, although Adams Sr. did say the Jews civilized the ancient world, for good reason. However since we have never been able to do what Jesus told us in the Sermon on the Mount, we cannot even guess what the world might be like if we could. Not even Christians know. In Great Awakenings, they got a rough idea but there have been only a few short-lived examples of those. Quote:the Jews civilized the ancient world, for good reason. Really?
