Tough place to feel confused about religion.

Look forward to your thoughts in the forum, the mix of multi-cultural views makes this a great place to maybe iron out anything you are confused about.

Being lost and confused is far preferable to absolute certainty in something you have no reason to be absolutely certain about. It means you are thinking. Be proud of being lost, the universe and this world isn't simple, technically, we are all lost and confused, the trick is to work out what is worth being certain about. To most of us, that would be things that can be proven repeatedly not fairy tales.
Self-authenticating private evidence is useless, because it is indistinguishable from the illusion of it. ― Kel, Kelosophy Blog

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
The f**king janitor or the dude who runs the waterslide. Throughout history every mystery. Ever solved has turned out to be. Not Magic.

Its so hard though . Everyday i come up with a new crazy idea . Today i got this idea that maybe we have a God but an evil one .

Ideas are fine, just be wary of attributing truth content to them based on subjectivity.

Rather than evil, if a God existed, I would suspect apathy rather than outright evil, he just lets the natural world get on with things without intervention.

In truth, when you talk about proof of God, most of the time its proof of intervention.

Taking it down a notch, and you realise that an apathetic God becomes an overcomplication to the natural order of things.

Do you think that by any means that the natural order you have mentioned is gonna change ?

Improbable, but within the realms of possibility. Even if the natural order were to change, God would still be an unnecessary addition to the equation.

Depends on what you think of as the natural order. For me the natural order consists of the laws of physics. And so I don't see them changing any time soon, if at all.

"In short, Meyer has shown that his first disastrous book was not a fluke: he is capable of going into any field in which he has no training or research experience and botching it just as badly as he did molecular biology. As I've written before, if you are a complete amateur and don't understand a subject, don't demonstrate the Dunning-Kruger effect by writing a book about it and proving your ignorance to everyone else! "
