I've just used it to download the latest Two and a Half Men, so, reality disagrees with you :p
Odd. Have they changed the tracker to a different IP / domain?

Edit: Ah, I see, they shut down their tracker service years ago. I never use TPB so I was unaware of that little fact. Shows how much the British government actually know about the technology doesn't it? Block the website, not the trackers... Facepalm
By the way, TPB isn't blocked on Be Internet (O2) yet.

They have no tracker(s) to block. Big Grin

The only thing they can mess with is the general site.

Its telling, that legislation is too slow to keep up with technology, magnet links are the way forward at the moment, and the site itself merely dressing.

I was irritated that it was going to be blocked, but I never for a second thought "Goddammit, now I can't use piratebay".. I simply shrugged and worked my way around it.

If they spent as much effort on producing viable online paid content at reasonable pricing, as they do on trying to block the transfer of information over the internet, they'd be sitting quite comfortably. Maybe not as comfortably as before, but more than profitably.

If you’re going to watch tele, you should watch Scooby Doo. That show was so cool because every time there’s a church with a ghoul, or a ghost in a school. They looked beneath the mask and what was inside?
The f**king janitor or the dude who runs the waterslide. Throughout history every mystery. Ever solved has turned out to be. Not Magic.

I'm presuming that applies only to the UK,because I can still access the site here. Not that I would do or advocate doing anything illegal.Angel Cloud

Tangent: Not sure it's still available, but worth a read if it is : Go to Pirate Bay and have a look at the correspondence between some US lawyers and PB,it's hilarious.

It only applies to the UK at the moment. TPB isn't doing anything illegal; it hosts torrent files, which don't breach copyright law. Torrent files themselves can be used for both moral and immoral purposes, and there is nothing wrong with them.

I'm sure that Ill get armed police on my doorstep in the space of five minutes for typing these four simple words on the internet but I guess thats just the price of having balls the size of space hoppers:
