I knew a guy who did something really similar to that and was introduced to the front grill of a Ford van at a combined speed of about 75mph. He survived, surprisingly. I saw it happen, it was not a pretty sight. Still have nightmares about it from time to time. Haven't been on a motorcycle in close to 20 years.
