I've heard plenty of 1-on-1 statements of physical abuse and sexual abuse from priests and nuns - according to anyone currently over 50 who went to Catholic school as a child, the nuns especially were big into physical abuse of children. Stories of the Catholic orphanages 100 years ago are horrible! Look up something about the Magdelene Laundries - especially in Ireland. Or about their "Industrial Schools".
