Dinosaurs and Man

Where did all that water go? If what you say were true, all that water would have to go somewhere, or else the continents would be under water. Also, there is no geological evidence to support these claims. None whatsoever, in fact.

The water is still here. The land was raised and the valleys of the deep formed, thus creating a barrier to keep the water out. The scientific support is out there, just look with a non-biased observation, like I did with evolution.

Quote:The titanic was bigger.

I didn't say bigger, I said greater.

Quote:You don't have any clue how many species you're talking about do you? That's clear, so you really don't have to answer that.

About 10,000 species of bird, 4,600 mammals, 9,000 reptiles, and 6,000 amphibians. Add 2,000 for extinct species. Add 10,000 for the future species we might find. This gives a total of 41,600 species. Times two equals 83,200 animals. At 21" per cubit, gives an ark of over 2 million cubic feet. More than enough room.

Quote:Very few can. What about the marine life that depends on osmotic pressure? Why are they still here? They couldn't have survived it. Do you know anything about marine biology? If you did, then you'd know that salt water species excrete salt, and if there isn't enough salt in the water, their CNS will shut down, resulting in death.

Kidneys and gills are used to balance salt-intake and osmotic pressure. The salinity of the ocean is increasing. Therefore, the salinity of the water 4,000 years ago was a lot less. Underwater lava creates hot water, which dissolves minerals, adding salt to the water. They could have easily survived. Using today's marine wildlife as an example to disprove the Flood is irrelevant.

Quote:Really? How? Explain, and please do provide peer reviewed evidence to support this, and all of your claims.

I simply do not know the answer yet.

Quote:Climates were fine??????????? What about penguins? Did he have a cold climate for them, while simultaneously creating a hot climate for snakes, lizards, etc? That's crazy fucking bullshit!!!!!!! Listen to yourself!!!! It never fucking happened. I am so sure the lions, tigers, panthers, wolves, eagles and polar bears just LOVED that dried goods diet. Hypercarnivores are all about the dried goods.

Antarctica used to be sub-tropical. Reptiles could survive warm weather; it does not need to be "hot". Carnivores will scavenge if necessary; dried meats are perfectly suitable.

Quote:And you still haven't answered this question: Humans were inhabiting North America 50,000 years ago. Are you willing to accept that as a fact? If so, are you under the misconception that dinosaurs also inhabited America 50,000 years ago?

50,000 years is almost the maximum amount of years allowed for the conclusions drawn from radiocarbon dating. Why? Because after that, it isn't clear. Lots of factors. Lots of estimates. It's only accurate for a few thousand years, after that it's simply not clear. But what happens when you use carbon14 dating to determine dinosaur fossils? Just ask Oak Ridge National Laboratory, which concluded a dinosaur bone to be a few thousand years old.

Any more questions? This was supposed to be about the Paluxy River tracks.

Day one - the gazelles, wildebeest, gnus, zebras, and lions leave "Ararat" for Africa.

Day two - the lions get hungry. Then what?

Since you've already based your question on the assumption that God did in fact lead the animals to the Ark without fighting with each other, then they did the same when they left. Every animal that was aboard the Ark has it in them to be tame and obedient, put there by God. Even fierce, wild lions can be tamed, and behave in a non-violent manner towards species they might have been violent towards before. And that's a fact.
Are we essentially evolved spacesuits stupidly assembled by no other reason than to reproduce more of the same stupidly assembled spacesuits that will eventually cease to exist? Clap

It all boils down to proof "ScienceLovesGod". Now do you have any or not?
And no, the fraud doesn't count.

Hey, idiot, it's your fucking fairy tale...feel free to invent any fucking reason you want. Just don't expect me to believe a fucking word you say.

BTW, there is nothing in your fairy tale which remotely backs up your assertion...but I'm sure that won't even slow you down.

Mini, cool it. Hes got nothing. Just another guy who popped up a video of a would-be con-man and then resorted to quoting kindergarten bible class. Nothing more. Its not worth getting bent out of shape about so chill. Here, have some of my herbology experiment.

Apologists are FACT FREE!

Where's your evidence, SLG? So you believe in a "theory" of evolution in which species, excepting humans, evolve/adapt drastically and expediently over a short time period of a few thousand years?

Where's your evidence? You assert it without evidence, we dismiss it. If you could provide evidence to, not us, but the scientific community at large, it would be accepted as fact and the actual theory of evolution would change. Ever think that maybe you're just wrong?

Somebody I was recently reading said that creationists have two answers for everything:
a) "Goddidit."
b) "You can't prove that!"

I absolutely agree. That said, though, if I've learned only one thing it's that just when you think you've come across the dumbest thing ever, along comes something even dumber. We are never safe...

Quote:A new and astounding image appeared in the mirrors.

"They would appear," said Ford doubtfully, "to have turned into a bowl of petunias and a very surprised looking whale ..."
.
.
....And since [materializing suspended high above a planet] is not a naturally tenable position for a whale, this poor innocent creature had very little time to come to terms with its identity as a whale before it then had to come to terms with not being a whale any more.

This is a complete record of its thoughts from the moment it began its life till the moment it ended it.

Ah ... ! What's happening? it thought. Er, excuse me, who am I?

Hello?

Why am I here? What's my purpose in life?

What do I mean by who am I?

Calm down, get a grip now ... oh! this is an interesting sensation, what is it? It's a sort of ... yawning, tingling sensation in my ... my ... well I suppose I'd better start finding names for things if I want to make any headway in what for the sake of what I shall call an argument I shall call the world, so let's call it my stomach.

Good. Ooooh, it's getting quite strong. And hey, what's about this whistling roaring sound going past what I'm suddenly going to call my head? Perhaps I can call that ... wind! Is that a good name? It'll do ... perhaps I can find a better name for it later when I've found out what it's for. It must be something very important because there certainly seems to be a hell of a lot of it. Hey! What's this thing? This ... let's call it a tail - yeah, tail. Hey! I can can really thrash it about pretty good can't I? Wow! Wow! That feels great! Doesn't seem to achieve very much but I'll probably find out what it's for later on. Now - have I built up any coherent picture of things yet?

No.

Never mind, hey, this is really exciting, so much to find out about, so much to look forward to, I'm quite dizzy with anticipation ...

Or is it the wind?

There really is a lot of that now isn't it?

And wow! Hey! What's this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like ... ow ... ound ... round ... ground! That's it! That's a good name - ground!

I wonder if it will be friends with me?

And the rest, after a sudden wet thud, was silence.

Curiously enough, the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias as it fell was Oh no, not again. Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly why the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now.
