I am a 15 year old South African living in Cape Town. I am a christian and I am a big fan of William Lane Craig and Lewis Carrol. I also do not believe that christianity is a religion (weird huh?) I'll be going into further details in later posts.

happy arguing!

You are young but I do have to warn you, many atheists here, maybe not all, but many here are going to kick the crap out of your claims. But please keep in mind, that it is strictly about a claim you make. We can like a person as an individual without liking every thing they might say.

And we don't just take on Christianity, we take on all the big ones, and I'll even take on an atheist if I feel that person is wrong on a given claim.

If you expect to survive here, my advice is to not take it personally, and treat all of us as individuals. Some here you will find like a library type discussion, and then others here, like me, don't mind a verbal brawl, IN DEBATE ONLY.

But no one here, not even me will hate a person merely because we might hate a claim they might make. None of us here can live on an island. All of us here have family and friends and co workers to some degree that have some sort of belief.

I even have it out with an atheist Libertarian on economic issues on another site. I like him, but I hate his economic views. So always understand, that in the end whatever we argue over, or the words we use, we are still the same species and the worst we can do is simply disagree.

Keep that in mind and you should survive here. We wont barbecue your kittens, or advocate your arrest, or set up a fascist state. But you did step into the "rival" camp, and your claims will get knocked around.

This is really important. Prove your worth as an individual, and you will be respected regardless of your beliefs. If we can agree to disagree, you'll do just fine here Nick Wink
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Welcome, I guess. I see that school's out again...

What is a 15 year old christian doing on an atheist forum, then?

Something along these lines, then...?

See the resemblance?

Cool, I consider christianity a form of over compensation for the actions one has made but cannot live with by normal means.

This makes it sound as though being Christian is just a very sincere way of saying how sorry you are about everything.

Isn't that what they are trying to to do? Well it's just the vibe I get from them.

I get that vibe a lot too. Christians in a self abnegating mood are common and a major downer but that still beats the hell out of their onward Christian soldiers, crusader mode.

What gave you that idea? Would it have anything to do with coming onto an 'atheist forum'...

But yeah, welcome and good luck. I look forward to seeing what a 15 year old christian who doesn't believe his religion is a religion has to say.

Hi,
I'm not sure there are real people on this board but I want to say hello. I found out I did the Jesus gig, but Jesus isn't really a guy so now I'm here on earth as a female to to tell on the evil "I AM", aka satan, realm who is a liar and a cheat.

Tara
I was Jesus
