I'm sorry to hear that. Have you tried seeing what financial help there is available for funeral payments/funeral director's fees out there? Welfare or state benefits? Anything?

Edit: also my family won't be there for me because I came out as bi and an atheist.

Sorry to hear.

I think your project does have its merits, and might be worth pursuing.

You might want to check out kickstarter.com as a possibility for funding. I could even see a documentary being made of your exploits being a viable project.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Well I closed the project, some people thought it was a good idea but it didn't really excite anyone at all. Perhaps one day I will have the money to fund it myself.

In the meantime, maybe you'll stick around and socialize with our little community of the damned. A little fellowship might help you through the darker days.

Did you check out kickstarter.com?

It is a website dedicated to funding all sorts of projects. You don't need the money, other people provide it for you.
