Pro sports atheists, we need you.

RE: Pro sports atheists, we need you.
I'll pipe up for Lance Armstrong.

He's probably the most tested athlete in the world and has never failed a drugs test. The charges against him are a disgrace and they only really have Floyd Landis's word, so the word of a cheat who was caught.

Some say that at one point everyone was taking EPO in cycling, if so, it makes it a level playing field, and Armstrong still kicked ass for 7 years.

I used to hate Nadal. Have a new found respect for him, fucking grunter.

To clarify, I hated Lance Armstrong as a cyclist. I'm a massive cycling fan and felt he ruined the sport by dominating a la Schumacher for so long. He sucked the life out of the TDF. Nevertheless, the charges are stupid and based on heresay of banned former team-mates who unlike him, didn't make $100m.

I really don't know about Lance. It well could be a witch hunt out of jealously because of his success. But I cannot help but think the regulators of that sport pull shit out of their ass without reason. In an NFL game reffs can and do make bad calls, but if a reff went on a witch hunt against one team it would be so obvious.

Ultimately we are all human and to assume because he is an atheist he cant do anything wrong, but not just Lance and not just atheists, but any human. No label is automatically going to make you good or bad.
