"Show Me" state shows its collective stupidity
Missouri is known as the "Show Me" state. This week, by a 7:1 margin, the citizens of Missouri passed the Missouri prayer amendment showing themselves to be collectively stupid.
http://prayeramendment.org/ This is in the amendment: Quote: that students may express their beliefs about religion in written and oral assignments free from discrimination based on the religious content of their work; that no student shall be compelled to perform or participate in academic assignments or educational presentations that violate his or her religious beliefs; I guess the good people of Missouri weren't satisfied being ranked 47th on the National Education Report Card. They want stop until they are 50th. http://www.komu.com/news/missouri-ranks-...port-card/ |
