I have no issues with necro posting. I personally don't even think it should be against the rules (but alas I do not make zeh rules so I am forced to try my best to follow them).

As luck would have it a lot of members who contributed to this thread are still around.

However, when you get someone posting in reply to someone who hasn't been active for 2+ years it becomes kind of nonsensical. We must also consider that there are other threads currently open that deal with this topic, so having duplicate threads at the same time is pointless.

I still think its easier if a new thread is started, it's confusing as hell to go just jump in and having to read through pages of posts from months/years ago for context sucks. Its okay if you were active in the threads but if you weren't its just hard to contribute.

Lol. I really try not to be annoying about it. I just don't like prohibiting things that don't hurt anyone. Whether you necro post an old thread or make a new one about something that's already been beaten to death, I don't see how it makes a difference.
