I don't have an interpretation. Thank you for the complimentary Rabbi status though, I'm suitably flattered. I'll get back to you on your inability to use the internet later. Busy having a life here. I hope that you understand.

RE: How you can make A THEIST's dream come true!
But,but, but, Obama is a lame duck. Why on earth would you vote for him again. Because he's not Romney? A LOT of people voted for Obama because he's not GWB. Look at what a bang up success THAT has been. Tiger

Romney supporters show clearly that there are easily as many working class Tories in the US in the UK. By that I mean ordinary wage earners naive enough or stupid enough to believe a privileged ,ruthless, millionaire businessman gives a flying royal fuck about them and will make their lives better.

That A Theist supports Romney surprises me not a jot or a tittle.

The main difference I can see between Democrats and Republicans is that Democrats occasionally use vaseline.
Man is not so much a rational animal as a rationalising one.

Don't look at me like that. You're first. Wait, were you responding to me?

Yeah, Mitt Romney is total piece of shit. All he does is parade around angrily contradicting himself all the time. If he gets into office, I might reconsider moving to England.

I am right there with you, Shell. Although I'd be stuck in the US for a while for school.

Yeah, I would probably have to wait a while too. I would kind of need to get England to let me in.

High winds do not last all morning.
Heavy rain does not last all day.
Why is this? Heaven and earth!
If heaven and earth cannot make things eternal,
how is it possible for man?

He who follows the Tao
is at one with the Tao.
He who is virtuous
experiences Virtue.
He who loses the way
is lost.
When you are at one with the Tao,
the Tao welcomes you.
When you are at one with Virtue,
the Virtue is always there.
When you are at one with loss,
the loss is experienced willingly.

He has shown himself to be an eloquent spokesperson for his points of view. If you are an American citizen who will vote in the upcoming presidential election you can make A Theist very happy by voting for anyone else but Obama. Like myself he has dedicated his signature to promote his political views at this time"

"NObama! NOway! Vote Barack OUT!"

My own position is summed up in my own signature below. If you think W Bush had us headed in the right direction before the wheels came off and/or you are strong proponent of Mormonism or some other whacko variety of Christianity, you really should vote for Mitt. If, upon reflection, you still think there was no significant difference in the direction W Bush took us and the one Gore would have taken, by all means vote for the candidate who most embodies your own positions and wishes. But if you want the non-W candidate who can and will obtain the most liberal good in the next four years, you should definitely vote for Obama. That way, even if your favorite candidate doesn't win, at least you won't wake up to find Mitt shipping your job overseas and Ryan deciding if you can get an abortion or use your health care plan to buy birth control.

How is Romney like Bush?

As long as you don't vote for that fuckhead Romney.

The reality is any vote not for Obama is in virtually the full range of its effects the exact equivalent of a vote for Romney.

You are right. Their differences are more glaring than their similarities. Yet they are alike in at least two ways.

First, they do both have their secret friends, even if Romney's come from other planets. From the atheist point of view, this is a little unsettling. Of course no atheist could be elected president in the US so there is room to wonder just how near and dear they hold their superstition. There is little doubt that Bush holds religion in a shallow, literal, fundamentalist way. I'm not as certain about how important Romney's religious views are to him. Perhaps there are Mormons who come for the celestial wonder but stay for the community, but I doubt it. He is almost certainly a religious nutter.

Second, both owe their wealth and their estimation of their own worth to their families. Romney seems to have done a better job of growing that wealth than Bush, but then Bush didn't amass his wealth by sending American jobs overseas in the wholesale manner that Romney did. I only wish more Americans would contemplate how likely someone like Romney would be to understand their interests let alone his desire to represent them. Romney and Bush, like so many of the 1%, are all about justifying their wealth and holding it up as an incentive to others - even though suggesting that the economy (let alone the planet) could ever sustain a whole nation of people living as large as they do - is surely ludicrous.

I will bear this in mind, thank you .. and all the more if we end up under Romney. A very real possibility.
