Wow, that's a bleak outlook on life.. Don't worry, whether we deserve it or not, eventually all will die.

You know, using absolutes like that is kind of unfair towards all of those who have made this world a better place and worked in favor of humanity. Yes, there will always be the party crashers, who care about nothing but themselves, but there are also good, kind and altruistic people in this world. There's no need to be naive and think that humankind will ever be free of greed (hell, it's part of our blueprint), but I will continue to appreciate people as long as there are those few wonderful people around. Getting cynical helps no one, a smile and sunny disposition can make all the difference in the world and it costs absolutely nothing.
Greed and corruption is in human nature. And people who want to really change things on a better side, they newer come to "power". And people who actually did something good, are in minority.

So this tells you that humanity isnt worth it.

Just look what we killed for 100 years back,we kill to prove who has a better imaginary friend!! Do you think this kind of species deserves to live and reproduce i dont think so,also people today arent much better.

P.S: Say something stay by it,i dont care what you think of me,humanity has no future for me.

Yet look how far we have matured as a society in that hundred years! Yes, people still have imaginary friends and yes, wars are still fought over whose imaginary friend is the correct one. However, if anything, we are living in one of the most peaceful and prosperous periods in all of human history. Education, advances in medicine and modern communication technology, including this internet, have played a massive rôle in bringing this about. Unless there is some astonishingly drastic societal upheaval, which we'd most likely not survive as a species anyway, I don't see any way in which all this knowledge and investigation can ever be unlearned.

This is my latest prophecy. You can bank on it (but please don't quote me on that, just in case).
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

We are what the necessity for survival of our ancesters had made us. Who the fuck are you to say we we do not deserve to survive because we are the result of complying with the complex need for survival?

If you think "we" don't deserve to survive, by all means arrange an amusing demise for yourself so that those of us who think the rest of us do deserve to survive can be entertained while enjoying our desserts.

-yea right how far,you get killed in islamic countries for saying you dont believe in god.

-Be black go in texas and say im an atheist and im gay. Lets see what happens.

-Our main goal in this life is to trade green papers so we can exchange useless materials we actually dont need.

-We are destroying our planet,we are burning fossil fuels, when we know that this resources are limited,we have the techonogly to turn this planet into complete green globe but no we are still using the good old way.

-We are trapped in commercialism, where capitalism is teaching us that spending is the main goal in this life.

-We spend millions of dollars into army's,for what to kill and concur our brother our fellow human beings, and turn death and misery into profit

the list goes on and on,we are nothing compared what has to be discovered,we are just an drop in the sea,we are worthless, the freaks of evolution. Just dont tell me that im to young to understand this! And if you did one good thing in your life, that does not turn you into a good guy, because we always have some other idiots who destroy everything we build.

Just remember there's no winner in this fucked-up human race!

Too many people on the way
World's growing smaller every day
As quantity grows, life quality goes
Our lives are sick and in decay

I never claimed we were perfect as a species or even as a disparate collection of societies all vying for survival on this tiny ball of rock and iron in a forgotten corner of a bleak and godless Universe. I even agreed with you - did you not spot this bit?

I'm supposed to be the forum's resident clinically-confirmed suicidal depressive and I'm starting to feel more than a little resentment at your obsessive rejection of others' opinions, apparently purely for rejection's sake. So I am going to back out of this thread at this point. I like the things you have to say, generally, and I have no intention of falling out with you over this.

No worries my friend, we all get like that sometimes. Just browse through a few of my posts! Let off as much steam as you like, pay no attention to me.

Actually, the best advice I was ever given was from another online friend at another now defunct forum I used to haunt, this was not so very long after my whole world was destroyed. This friend told me "Never follow any advice that doesn't feel right - including this."

We survive, because we change the environment we live in,instead that we should adapt-or change our self.
We also remove any threat that is trying to reduce our numbers. So the survival of the fittest does not work for us.

Who em I? I'm an naive 15 years old chap from EU,who are you?

It helps run soup kitchens and homeless shelters and clean water projects....HERE ON EARTH!

I guess you don't know then. Do you have any idea how much money the church actually makes?
If we taxed religion, we'd have enough money to send over a dozen Mars rovers. Religion has more than enough money to feed hundreds of millions.
Though they'd rather spend the money on fancy cars and huge churches.

When you look at how much religion makes and what they spend all that money on, religion is the ultimate corruption. The top 10 for most evil and selfish.

Really really really big churches full of thousands of people talking about bible stuff (feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, etc. etc.) = tons of money going into collection
bowls to ...feed the hungry, clothe the poor, etc. etc

Sure, you can tax those charitable donations - money given from peoples AFTER TAX INCOME - and guess what that will do.

If you wanted to give to charities, why not just give directly to them? The money collected from church collections will go to the church first then to the charities.
