If you aren't tedious and quote bible references as if we actually beleive them then look forward to your arguments

Keep in mind we have a real regard for the truth, and would not want "pleasure" of "Christ" in our lives for the same reason as a person with a real regard for his wife would not take pleasure in the money he might make by prostituting her.

Keep that foremost in mind in your discussions here, in front of even your bible, and you will do fine.

Hiya and welcome to AF!

Protestant, eh? I always find it funny that Martin Luther didn't want to be part of the Catholic church due to the rigid stuffiness of their dogma, and yet he seems to be such and uptight person with a humongous stick up his arse. Talk about out of the frying pan.. Tongue
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

As long as you can keep an open mind about that, I look forward to talking with you.

I'm like you in that sense: I want my beliefs to be challenged. Some of the echo chamber sites I've been to before are just so frustrating; it's impossible to have in depth conversations there.

At least he got to have sex.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Sort of the residue of the times when xtians gleefully burned anyone who disagreed with the particular doctrine some bozo was pushing in a given country.

Hi and welcome. I'm a Christian too and an altar boy to boot (been one since I was 5). But I'm an enlightened Christian or a rational Christian - ie one who does not believe in anything supernatural. I have not been long like this. It's quite recent. Before that I was a foolish child who believed every fable of my religion to the letter.

Hope to debate with you soon. Right now I'm preparing a formal debate with RaphielDrake. Hope to have one with a real Christian but it's hard. They usually stay away from debates like the plague.

Welcome!!!
