Religion doesn't have to be superstitious. That's my point all along.

It's pointless ritual without the superstition (well, its pointless ritual anyway, but without the belief you recognise that this is the case).

Then it's nothing but a waste of time.

Without the supernatural its pointless, but is that the same as superstition?

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

It would probably be fair to say Gren, that you are "culturally christian" as opposed to "A Christian". Subtle but important distinction to which you may have never been exposed. Unfortunately if this were the case you will have lost all "christian cred" with those who think it means something.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

That's fine and everything, but if you reject the superstitious aspects of the religion, what does the title 'Christian' mean? What is the difference between a Christian, going by your definition, and an atheist?

Willingness to excuse the church whilst simultaneously claiming credit for the church of this or that..if Gren is the example..lol.

Which is why I have been arguing for rational Christianity, a religion that is stripped of its supernatural nonsense. And it's funny that atheists are opposing me like I have done something wrong.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily oppose you, but it seems kinda pointless. It's like striping all the Superman scenes from Superman comics and all you're left with is the life of news reporter named Clark Kent who likes to dash into phone booths for no apparent reason.
