I study scriptures, there will be no rest, no night, no day, just eternal darkness.

That's odd. I study tea leaves and I get an entirely different result. Hard to say which method should be more reliable.

I have no issue with that. Gets you out and about the nothingness. A lot of time to think about all life's problems and the lack of them now you have kicked the bucket.

As far as I know, heaven isn't very well defined. It is basically whatever you want it to be, just like how you can cherry-pick which parts of the bible are true. Do they never realize that their desires do not change reality? (Or do they assume heaven will conform to their desires). In all honesty, especially given god's character, it would probably be endlessly worshipping him and being bathed in his 'glory'.

The brain conducts consciousness, but is not the source of consciousness. It's like if a lightbulb burns out - you don't get light anymore, because the conductor of light is damaged or destroyed. But that says nothing about the electrical current available in the light socket.

And how did you come about this piece of knowledge about "consciousness"?

You are asserting this when all the evidence points to it not being true.

Back on topic for a bit, if heaven is so great, why did the 'fallen angels' dis it?

Heaven is what you make of your life. You can choose to make a heaven out of hell, a hell out of heaven.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

Why do you assume consciousness is already out there, irrespective of their being appropriate brains about to house it? In your example the power potential of your wall socket seems more analogous to life itself or the environmental conditions which make it possible. Consciousness is more like the light bulb, because it is just one of the manifestations which life makes possible. Or if you like, because we value it so highly, perhaps it should be like a plug-in computer? Regardless, life no more depends on consciousness than the power in your outlet depends on that computer. Life goes on and the power potential remains without either one. Leastwise, if you think consciousness is a required for life itself .. I don't see where you've given any support for that position.

Dictionary.com Wrote:heav·en
   [hev-uhn]

noun
1. the abode of God, the angels, and the spirits of the righteous after death; the place or state of existence of the blessed after the mortal life.

2. ( initial capital letter ) Often, Heavens. the celestial powers; God.

3. a metonym for God (used in expressions of emphasis, surprise, etc.): For heaven's sake!

4. heavens,
a. (used interjectionally to express emphasis, surprise, etc.): Heavens, what a cold room!

b. ( used with a singular verb ) a wooden roof or canopy over the outer stage of an Elizabethan theater.

5. Usually, heavens. the sky, firmament, or expanse of space surrounding the earth.

And this answers...nothing. There is never a specific definition given in the bible. Why not? Is it because some people might decide they don't like it?
