Min was some Egyptian god but from this photo I can't quite tell what he was a god of.

Min,

Just from that picture I would say that he was a god of the harvest and fertility. I think that item in his hand was used for threshing wheat and the plants symbolize fertility along with his huge boner!

He is missing an arm though so I find that disturbing.

Incorrect. As I said, I'm far more interested in real subjects, like history and archaeology. Disciplines which have some sense of the tangible.

Theology is, basically, mental masturbation.

It works like this. If there is no god then there are no "holy books." What there is, is a lot of human drivel.
