An Atheist's Critique of the Bible
#1
I've just started reading this and it's absolutely brilliant. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to see the Bible debunked and have a really good laugh whilst doing it.

Here's where you can get a copy.

I'm guessing Hughsie's real name is Brian Shuty. Just a thought.

but it always has been, is, and will be an ever-living fire,
kindling itself by regular measures and going out by regular measures."

That's what I'd be willing to bet.

Anyway, if I want the skeptical look at the Bible, I simply use the skeptics annotated Bible right here:

Also useful: they have links to pages on the Koran and the Book of Mormon, so you can learn all the bullshit from the Muslim holy book or from the LDS church.

Haha, my surname is Hughes (shockingly) not Shuty.

I just think the book is rather appropriate to an atheism forum Smile.

Sounds like something to give to a friend or relative who you want to "convert" to ditching their religion. We already know that everything in there is ridiculous already, dont' need a line by line critique.

Still I didn't know this existed, thanks for pointing it out. Worship

I would hate to buy it and be bored to tears reading a re-hash of atheosphere stuff (for the hundredth time.)

Hughsie, tell us 1 or 2 highlights you got from the book. Anything really original?

Thanks for the link. That saved me a lot of time.

If the book is full of that type of ''absolutely brilliant...'' stuff I wont be buying it, or borrowing it or re-gifting it.

''..recommend it to anyone who wants to have a really good laugh...''?

Yeah right!

...in between TV ad breaks.
