Sorry Frankster but I think you missed my point, which is that kudo feels to me to be too much higher than like, thus reducing the number I give compared to other forums using the like system. I like Gilgamesh's idea of using karma.

I wish we could give Kudon'ts. I miss the ability to neg rep people. I hate the fact that systems usually allow only like or ignore. I understand that many don't want hurt feeilngs, but why not? Who has the right not to be offended? When someone says something dumb I should have an easy way to express distaste. I wish there was a dislike button on Facebook! We were warned of speech tweaking to only allow for positive ideas to be shared with newspeak and the constant redaction of negative words from the english language in the book 1984. From the wiki on newspeak:

So I can't kudon't a post to let someone know I think ill of thier post, nor can I neg rep them to show that they are a repugnant entity, much like I can't dislike a post on Facebook.
