So ILM (Industrial Light and Magic) was created to generate the Special effects for Star Wars and is a subsidiary of LucasFilm.
Some people didn't like how ILM worked, so they quit and created their own special effects company, called Pixar.
Pixar is a subsidiary of Disney... every single Pixar motion picture has the Disney stamp on it.
Now Pix... ooops... Disney buys LucasFilm and owns ILM.
Kind of a full circle thing...
Now, they can finally make a "Cars: in space" movie. Or Toy Story: in space.
