Hello guys, I'm in the UK, a 45 year old male that was born a Christian, however, since a very early age I have challenged the brainwashing of religion, I have not spoken out, but have questioned many things with myself.

Please don't laugh , but I believe in the ancient astronaut theory rather than organised religion.

Too me, religion can be summed up in a few ways........

01... read this book and live your life as the book says and go to heaven
02... read this book and live your life in a different way and prepare to be judged.
03... read this book and live your life totaly in the wrong way and you will go to hell.

I think this goes for Christianity, Islam, and most if not all other faiths.

I know right from wrong without having it preached to me, I am Stanley from North East England, good to be here, Thankyou.

You succeeded! You can't be born a Christian. It's a choice.

no its not a choice,if you force your two years old son/daughter that a flying broccoli monster is in charge of everything she/he will grow up believing it.
Like for example:
my favorite color is green and then my dad would say no your fav. color is black. It's not a choice you are forced into believing in it

Same is with religion you are born an atheist but then your parents start to teach you lies. Lies that are often told with time become the truth

But your favourite colour would still be green, you'd just say you liked black to keep your dad happy.

Lame example.

Welcome Stan.

Bollocks. Child abuse is child abuse, no matter what frock you wear when you do it.

Greetings, fellow Angel-islander! Pay no mind to our transatlantic cousins who consider this:

room temperature. Personally, I like my rooms warmer than ice cold, but each to his own.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
