Above is the latest satellite pics of a cold front crossing Perth Metro South. These past few weeks have seen a good amount of rainfall here in the Northern suburbs and some impressive downpours in the southern districts.

My Buffalo Grass Bouteloua dactyloides cv 'Pure Silk' is patchy in areas that have stayed in the shade over winter. Other than that, I am still harvesting Roma Tomatoes Solanum lycopersicum cv 'Roma' and the "Sno-Peas" just keep on giving Pisum sativum var. saccharatum ....

Not much else is happening (otherwise there would be pics!) so now it is just the wait for the sunny days of mid-Spring and then the drama of Summer.

So glad I finally came across this thread! What a great idea to keep to it, letting it go dormant -like the garden itself- in some seasons. Shows how hit or miss I can be!

Yep, West Aussies are a bunch of "weather watchers" we don't plan much sans consulting the latest radar images and forecasts....being motorcyclists is also another reason; "do I wear wet weather gear, or summer gear?"
