Sooner or later one takes notice of how silly it is.

What was your diet like though?

(January 8, 2013 at 12:06 pm)Brian37 Wrote: Chuck, coming from someone who tried and failed as a kid to "fit in" and "stand out" and was miserable in doing such, that is what you are doing here. You are seeking attention. I would suggest you simply live your life, know yourself, and be yourself.

Someone, be it family or friends screwed you up emotionally, otherwise you would not be here trying to demonstrate to the rest of us who you are. The bottom line is people ultimately will like you or they wont. The will agree with you or they wont.

I personally want you to stay, not because I like you, right now I don't. But I do see what I was in you and I know it will do you no good.

There are 7 billion of us. Evolution was around before any of us were born, and it will continue way after all of us are gone.

Do you have any questions on topic?

Why do you feel the need to ask others what they think of your personal predilection? You don't eat animals or use animal products. So? Other people do, so?

I smoke, do I knock on your door and say "Hey smoke, it's fun"?

If the thread was started because you hold the position that veganism is moral, then it would be "Why veganism is moral", not "ask me anything". You are selling you, not veganism.

"LOOK AT ME" that is all you are doing.

(I have been vegan for 2 years, I eat an extremely high carb/low fat diet.

My daily diet is something like:
5-15 bananas
A kilo of rice
Vegetable Curry or Stew
2 litres of Orange Juice
2 litres of banana/berry smoothie
10-20 dates
Half a Pineapple

Which is about 3000-5000 calories.

This is an extremely unhealthy diet.
I suspect there are more calories in a kilo of rice than 5000, especially if you're talking white rice which doesn't have the fiber benefits of brown rice.
That many bananas can cause a potassium overload in your system which I believe shuts down your kidneys (or is it the liver? I can never remember, but neither is good), so you might want to cut back on those a bit. Not to mention bananas can cause constipation, so if you are eating white rice and this many bananas, do you ever poo? Perhaps the dates help with that, but then you're just eating the dates to keep yourself regular instead of eating a healthy balanced diet (vegan or not).
And that's a shit-ton of juice, which is really nothing but sugar.
Welcome, you have diabetes, or will have if you continue to eat like this. And when you get a wee bit older and your metabolism gives out, well, then you'll be fat too. Certainly something to brag about.

Some times I mix it up a bit, between brown and white. I am trying to reduce my rice intake, and more glucose rich carbs like fruit.

When is it too much potassium? I read, you would need to eat 1000 bananas in 10 minutes to die from too much potassium. Since potassium is excreted through urine whenever there is too much.

Why would bananas cause constipation? they are extremely high in fibre in it's own right. I go toilet 3-4 times a day.

Sugar is good for you, if you want high performance you need high energy. My blood tests has shown I have healthy blood sugar.

Mainly vegetable stews and self baked stuff.

Occasionaly I bought some soja milk and could eat more.
I always tried to make as many products as possible myself out of soja.
Fruit was a main part of my diet before Becoming vegan and even before becoming vegeterian. And now that I am no longer both of them I still eat alot of fruit.

I guess the biggest impact on my diet today was that I still only eat meat maybe once a week.

And I guess I became a better cook through it.

Well, if you are eating high quantities of fruit, and low amount of meat, you should be doing well. As long as you keep it low, which you are. Personally I love eating, and can not eat small at all- love feasting every meal.

Please do not dole out dietary advice. I doubt very seriously you have a degree in anything.

Sugar also causes bad things. Too much of anything can cause bad things.

The best advice is for people to listen to doctors, not you. The only general advice any of us should take is to eat a balanced diet, exercise and take your doctor's advice.

Since everyone does not have your body or genes I'd suggest you not make blanket statements about what other people should do.

Until your pancreas can't keep up with insulin production. 45 minutes of exercise wouldn't burn all that sugar you are taking in. The excess sugar gets stored as fat. Perhaps not traditional body fat, but I'd imagine your internal organs are covered in the stuff, and that's actually more dangerous than having a spare tire around your middle.
Bananas are a recommended food for those suffering from diarrhea. I know this from several bouts of diarrhea with the kiddos. Don't know how much is too much, but if you're eating 10 bananas daily, that's not good.
Variety and diversity, that's how you get a good diet. The more colors you eat the better. You're getting minimal veg. Simply not healthy no matter how you look at it or spin it.

I don't need to have a degree, no- but I have successful results in blood test, fitness, etc. There are plenty of fat/unhealthy doctors. Dr. Atkins for example, he was clinical obese and died of heart attack. Judge people by results, not by theory.

I don't have special genes, I used to be borderline obese myself when I was in my early teens:

High performance anything, all cells are run on glucose.

Well, if sugar makes you fat- I should be obese. You know, some times I eat up to 7000 calories, so, it's not really true. I mean, it's a theory yeah, but if I am getting consistently good blood tests, I am doing something right.

You are right, I am trying to get more vegetables in- recently I have been chomping on a bag of carrots- and occasionally bags of spinach, but it's hard to get used to the taste.

"Richard Simmons" here forgot about that.

Nuts have protein so do soy supplement drinks such as Ensure and Boost. The question is how does the lack of animal protein affect an individual. I'd say it affects people differently. Some bodies can and do live without it, and other genetic dispositions might make it unwise to do such.

Irrelevant. He listed none of that as part of his diet.

You were obese, so? It certainly is not good to get past a certain weight, but saying " I did it this way" cannot apply to everyone and should not apply to everyone because everyone is different.

The best thing is for those who need to lose weight for medical reasons or simply want better form is to listen to a doctor, not you.

Well this all seems pretty made up. On the other hand he does look like he has nice blow job lips.
