Yes, we would notice. Beings on the macroscopic level operate with the flow of time.
what about the microscopic level?

could time operate like a reverse recording with every molecule, atom, reaction, thought go in reverse, everything in reverse in tandem perfectly, and therefore we couldn't notice. Have we anyway to know as its outside of our experience, is the possability definately excluded.

If its not a misunderstanding due to my typing and poor proof reading the if the moderators took that view, I would leave the forum; so there you have it; if you feel there is no place for me in the forum then just ban me.

I'm not sure the addition of the words alters the meaning all that much, but setting that aside, I would like to request, not as a moderator but as a fellow member, that you please stop playing the whining martyr. Nobody gets banned simply for being here; post as you wish, or post not, it's entirely up to you. As long as the rules, which apply to everyone, are not broken, there is a place here for everyone. That doesn't make you, or me, immune from criticism - you've been here long enough now to know that what gets posted here will be subject to the most rigourous criticism right down to the pixel level. Think of it as peer review, if you like.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I think it would have little effect on the microscopic level. I am, however, probably not the man to ask about this. I do know that it is possible that macroscopic beings would be unable to remain conscious.
I march against the Asagods
To bring the end of time.
I am pure and endless pain
And Surtr is my name.

See me rise, the mighty Surt,
Destroyer of the universe.
Bringer of flames and endless hurt
Scorcher of men and Earth.

I am stating my position (full stop) call it what you want. But criticism is fine and I deal with it as I please. If anyone has a problem with how I deal with it and it is within the forum rules that,s their problem and people are free to do what they want and I can respond as I want within the same boundaries. And if you want to call me the whining martyr that's your perogative but changes nothing so as I told other posters in other words don't waste your time.

You were welcomed to the forum. Get the past tense right first. Now if you want to have a long stay with us you're going to have to do something more constructive than this brain fart of a thread Mark.

Of course its a nonsense thread when I ask these sort of questions but although my physics isn't up to these guys and my attempts to verbalise what i'm messing with maybe not as good but what the hell, I am not alone.

Ohhh the drama!

Perhaps you want to defend your "contributions" in a thread that doesn't start with "Stop the bus I want to Wee wee"

LOL well it was an attempt at humour but it went down like a lead balloon, lesson learned Confusedhock:

If we're just talking about altering our perception of time when we talk about stopping or reversing it (and by using this language that is the only thing we could be talking about) then taking a picture or traveling faster than light would both qualify. Being that we currently understand time (more accurately space-time) to be a dimension of the universe..."stopping it" in any other sense than our perception of it would seem to be a wholly different proposition, as it's not actually "moving" simply existing. We're the ones moving through it. As DvF mentioned, it's difficult for me to understand a question like this, but are we talking about removing one of the dimensions of the universe, and wondering how that would affect us?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Mark, posting links to old articles on weak theoretical physics and dumping quotes IS NOT a constructive thread, AT ALL. You're not communicating with us properly because you're not telling us WHAT YOU THINK.

THEN, post it in the humor sub-forum! Don't inappropriately unload your lame-arse joke topics in the physical sciences sub-forum.
