Homeopathy : Some Reference Needed

When I replied to a supporter of Homeopathy, he reposted,"When an ingredient is diluted repeatedly, it still works. Why? Because, it can be compared with the energy of an atom. The atoms are small, yet they have tremendous power. Nanotechnology can't be placebo. And, if you say that homeopathy is placebo, then atom bombs are too....right?"

Please give me some reference-based info, with good debunking-points. I don't have enough time right now. But I will study these things later.

Have you ever had a fever?
What did you take to put it down? paracetamol?
I wonder... why is it that a child requires a dose of 200mg of paracetamol, while an adult requires a dose of 500~1000mg?
If an adult takes the same dose that a child, it will have a negligible effect.
What would that Homeopathy supporter think about this?

Homeophaty gets clobbered by double blind tests, as these are designed to subtract the placebo effect from the results. I wonder why they dislike these tests so much

It remembers me of that Tim Minchin "Storm" routine: "You know what they call alternative medicine that has been proven to work? Just medicine.

What would that Homeopathy supporter think about this?

What I replied was,"Why do you take large tablets of medicine? You can just break it into microscopic parts. Those will be much more potent."

He messaged right now,"It is different in the case of dilution. in the case of homeopathy, the smaller the better."

He is now saying,

it is different when it is diluted. The smaller the better. Like the atom bombs. The small atom can generate such energy. Homeopathy can be explained the same way.

So, take your tablets, break them in tiny pieces and dilute them!
Water makes all the difference, apparently.

This is a great way to buy only one tablet and make it last for your whole life!

Penelope Dingle was 45 years old when she died of colorectal cancer on the 25th of August, 2005..... Tighter controls
During the opening address, Counsel Assisting the Coroner Dr Celia Kemp said the purpose of the inquiry was to determine if there needs to be tighter controls on the homeopathic industry.

She told the inquest, that like many women in their late thirties, Pen was finding it difficult to get pregnant.

A long time supporter of alternative therapies, she began to see homeopath Francine Scrayen for fertility assistance.

Dr Kemp told the inquest that in 2001, Pen complained to Ms Scrayen there was blood in her faeces. She was prescribed homeopathic remedies.

The inquest was later told it would be two years before Pen was diagnosed with rectal cancer.

At that point, according to cancer surgeon Dr Cameron Platell, she had a good chance of survival had she been treated with conventional medicine..
