Come to Europe... nice weather, some people understand english.... I hear France is getting overrun by muslims, so it'd be best to avoid it.

Actually that wouldn`t be such a great idea.

We Europeans are known to treat minorities and imigrants not very well.

On the other hand, portuguese are known for being very welcoming! :p
Must have something to do with the weather... or the food. Try a Mediterranean diet.

Id take "not very well" over sectarian hatred anyday for sectarianism has plagued people minds.

I wouldnt be so sure about it.

I read that in Greece (which has been crowded with arab refugees after the Syrian civil war broke out) right wing groups roam through the streets of mahor cities hunting down, beating up and in some cases even murdering those.

I dont think that it is the same in Portugal or Spain, but I guess imegrants wont be that welcome there in a time of crisis aswell.

I'm Portuguese and you're right, we are a very welcoming people and also have very good food, nice enough weather and a very rich cultural history; but right now the country is in shambles, you can't find jobs anywhere and if you are somehow able to find a job it's very precarious. That's why I left the country and moved to the UK, though this place is getting overrun by muslims as well |:

Good luck, Ibn, hope you stick around long enough to give us a chance to get to know you better.

Welcome Although don't be surprised at my scepticism of your initial post, and the worry that you're here to exploit someone out of their hard earned cash. I'll echo Mr Agenda's sentiment - hope you stick around so we can get to know you better.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
