Atheists, how often do you think about God's existence/non-existence?

Most of the time I think about it is when I'm on these forums.

When someone who gives a shit about it brings it up. Usually fundamentalist atheists or theists. It gets goddamn annoying.

I'd rather be thinking about sex, food or skyrim at the moment.

Why not all three at the same time?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Sometimes I eat while I'm playing and the vibrating controller gives me that little "ooo!" moment of interest.

You just reminded me of an interesting little gaming article I found a few years back. I just tried to find it with no luck, so I'm working from memory now. It's basically a user review of a strange little PS2 game that activates a special vibrating gadget in time to the game's pulsing soundtrack, which gets more and more powerful as the game advances; so while one player controls the game his/her special lady can come along for the ride. Though I'm not sure I'd have the presence of mind to carry on playing a video game when there's a pretty friend playing a game of her own sitting next to me.

All the time, sort of. I think about the mysterious of the universe, where we all came from, the laws of science and that kind of stuff multiple times a day. Pretty much any time I'm alone and not occupied with anything, such as on walks or in the shower, trying to fall asleep. It all sort of ties into my disbelief in god, but its a lot more than that.

Sometimes I wish could think about more immediately important things, like what I want to do with my life but my mind always wanders.

Nothing wrong with having your head in the clouds; just pay attention to where you put your feet.

Hmmm?

Only when I'm on here. Otherwise, meh. I have no room in my life for silly superstitions, got enough emotional baggage as it is. tnxby

I think about the goddess quite a bit. I've got posters and statues and jewelry and stuff, so I'm constantly bumping into images of her. And I would think about her a good bit even if not for that. Of course, coming here, I think about God and gods a lot, though mostly the Judao-Christian one. When I masturbate I think of goddesses, but goddesses of a different sort. Some of my favorite things are comparative religion, cognitive science, and philosophy; god figures heavily in my interests in all three, from neurological models of belief to philosophy of religion and arguments for god to the metaphysics of realism and naturalism (and epistemology). And atheism is something of a personal hobby (atheist books are some of the best), so that triggers a lot of thought about god, as I'm always reading something about atheism and/or religion, both online and in hard copy/ebook.

So, goddess, a lot. Gods in general, also a lot.

Oh yea, that reminds me. To the theists, god is watching you have sex and pee and shit. Just remember that.
