I still question it to some extent, but fortunately without the same type of ridicule you would find in questioning a follower of religion.

"Science" does not deserve that kind of ridicule because science constantly changes in its search for answers. "Religion" OTOH thinks it has all the answers and that they were figured out by a bunch of goat herders sitting around a camp fire a couple of thousand years ago.

THAT kind of certainly deserves eternal ridicule.

Science... Well it never really proves anything totally cos its all based on the laws of chance and probablility... Like everything else. So there is a chance, however remote, that everything that it has "proven" is not True. And the theores change all the time and what was considered science a 1000 years ago is considered pure idiocy now... And science cannot answer the questons of relegion as it is scientifically impossible to prove the existence or non-existence of God or anything else at that. Such issues have to be taken by faith. You either have the "faith" that God does not exist, or the Faith that He does.
As to proof, youll get it. Youll have to take my word of course, like I have to take yours, and my word is not worth more than any of yours but Ill give you the proofs that I truly beleive are valid. As to me standing out I never said that I stand out. I only said that I intend to... and I fully do.

For starters, the core of science is to know/understand the unknowing, and if you will reread what I stated, "Science has not answered everything", you would have understood my meaning.

Do I believe Science will be able to answer every single detail about everything in/of the unknowing???
Not likely, but at least we are actually putting forth the effort in trying....Which is more than I can say for the religious..

Do I believe that Science is the best possible principle and course of action that we have today in finding out the unknowing or at least come the closest to the answers sought??

If, on the other hand you are simply here to..

• Tell us the evolution is a lie
  
• Convince us that hell is real and we must accept Jesus into our lives
  
• Tell us the morality comes from God
  
• Tell us that we reject God
  
• Give us your own 'unique' perspective on scripture
  
• Persuade us that the Earth is a mere 6 to 10 thousand years old
  
• Display bigoted and homophobic behaviour and then use the bible to justify it
  
• Reject science in favour of myth
  
• Tell us that the end is near and you'll soon be raptured like your friend The_Truth
  
• Give us that old chestnut that the something can't come from nothing therefore the Universe must have been created
  
• etc. etc. etc.
  

Then I really wouldn't bother as every argument you put forwards will be savaged like a tiger hunting a baby deer.
