I'm grateful for just the general flow of my life trending steadily upward after several years of deep lows and inconsistent highs. I have a new, much better-paying job, a wife I deeply adore and a kid coming in four months. Things is good.

I really would like it if these four months passed more quickly. I'm impatient, not just because I've waited five months but because we miscarried the first time.

What's neat is that we conceived on Halloween, and what's neater is that, as a result, the baby's due date is my birthday. 31 will be the BEST EVER

I'll only note that the first rule of becoming a parent, is that babies do things at their own pace, in their own time. I believe the figure is 10% of babies arrive on their due date… They're like wizards: they don't arrive early or late, but precisely when they mean to. But due date or no, I'm wishing you and your wife a happy and healthy next 4 months (and beyond, really) Smile

We call them leggings, and there's this one girl in my classes at university and she usually wears them, me and a few lads dedicated a drunken song to her. She wears them less frequently now Sad
