US motto "In God we trust" should change

US motto "In God we trust" should change
There is a White House petition to change the motto of the United States from "In God we trust" to its traditional motto "E pluribus unum" (Out of many, one).

It needs to get 150 signatures before the petition goes public and 100,000 signatures before May 1 so that the White House can look at it and give a response.

You need to establish a presence before you can post URLs. Although I will admit the rules on this are quite ambiguous and the Mod's should look at making it clearer.

But Welcome nevertheless.

The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK

No its not. 30 days and 30 posts and you can share your shit. Nice and simple.

Rule Number 2 Wrote:No Advertising
Any advertisements in posts will be removed immediately. If you want to promote a product or service then please contact one of the administrators or moderators by private message first. This also applies to people conducting research or surveys. Whilst most in the community would be glad to help with such projects, we still would like you to get permission from the staff before posting. If you want to post your website, please adhere to the 30 days and 30 posts rule. This amount of time and number of posts shows that advertising is not your sole purpose on this forum. If the rule is not adhered to, the advertisement will be removed and you may be warned or banned.

Insanity is correct (<--wtf did I just wrote Big Grin ). Its 30 days or 30 posts before such links can be place. We do however take into consideration bending the rule a bit, providing the user asks for permission beforehand (for shool projects & stuff).

PS- WTF happened to Ryan?

The part in Green is the part of that rule that I think applies to this post - a petition being a "service". If it's not a service, then it's not covered by any of the other criteria in the rule and nothing in the rules tells new users not to post general links.

Either way its still advertising. It shouldn't be necessary to have to write down every kind of site.
