When you think of it like that...

I don't think that being infinite and nonrepeating necessarily means that it contains ever number combination there is, though I could be misunderstanding stuff. An infinite and nonrepeating string might never contain the digit 1 followed by the digit 2, though it would still be infinite. (We know that pi does contain that, and it certainly might have no such constraints and thus contain every number combination, but I'm talking about infinite stuff in general.)

Well, there's a probability associated with getting a 1 then a 2 right after it. You have an infinite amount of "pairs" of numbers you'll be getting, therefore it will happen, unless the probability is zero (i.e. impossible) which it certainly isn't. Therefore it'll occur.
