I was walking home from college earlier and I stepped on this, by some grass next to my house.

What do you think it is? It fits the ring finger perfectly and it's extremely shiny, but it also looks like it could be off something mechanical.

Also, what should I do with it? (I'm not going to propose with it, before someone suggests that.) My mother believe Jesus leads people to find their lost belongings, so I doubt she would be interested in guessing what it is.

That's what I thought. There's no writing or inscription on it, though, so I don't think I can return it.

You could put an ad on Craigslist or something similar, just giving the general location of where it was found and ask for a description from interested parties… Is it metal or hematite? http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&...3009758519

I don't think people even use Cragslist in my area in the UK.
There's not even a section for my town, lol.
