What is A/S/K?

I've been seeing this a lot lately. Can anyone tell me? What does A/S/K mean/stand for?

And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. A reference to Matthew 7:7-12

The more interesting question is how this is reconciled with verses 13 and 14:

God is good and it's as easy to know him as "ask, seek, knock." But, uh, most people will die because he won't reply, allow himself to be found, or answer the door. Or he made it easier to be destroyed than to be saved, but it's your fault. Perhaps it means that you can ask and seek and knock, but if god decided that your fate is destruction, you might have been better off taking a nap instead.
